WYCF.

New media for the capital arriving onchain.

Trillions of dollars are moving onchain. New ways of structuring capital, generating yield, and building financial instruments that did not exist five years ago are now live and growing fast. Serious capital is finally turning to look, arriving with the questions any allocator asks before deploying: where does the yield come from, who carries the risk, what happens when something breaks.

The companies building this new system have had nowhere good to answer those questions. The information exists, but it is scattered, technical, or buried in pitch decks. WYCF was built to close that gap, with the quality the subject deserves.

How it works

Each episode takes one yield product and explains it end to end, on a whiteboard. The format is built on the four questions every allocator asks: where the yield comes from, who carries the risk, what happens if the collateral breaks, and why it should be trusted. The data behind every episode is verified independently by Stablewatch and published openly.

Appearing on WYCF means submitting a product to scrutiny you do not control, in public. The format is the position. WYCF stays neutral, and the audience decides.

Founder, WYCF
Agustín do Rego on the WYCF studio set.

WYCF was created by Agustín do Rego. He spent two years inside Sky (formerly MakerDAO), one of the largest protocols in onchain finance, and built his own financial life on stablecoins after emigrating from Argentina. He calls himself a native of stablecoins: his financial life and the ecosystem grew up on the same curve. He started WYCF to give the companies building the new financial system a place to explain themselves, with the quality the subject deserves.
